Brokie's Life Lately

I guess my co-writers and I have been too busy to keep you all updated on random stuff this summer. I thought I'd let you in on what's been on my mind lately... you know, for old times' sake.

1) The iPhone: Which I won't own come July 29th because I don't have a job yet and my mom refuses to let me permemnently borrow $500 to buy a cel phone. So, instead of sitting outside my neighborhood 7Eleven shaking a foam cup at unsuspecting pedestrians, I decided to start not one, but TWO jobs next week. Oh the life of a working girl.



2) Kat DeLuna: I have a lot in common with this rising star. Our names sound the same (my firends call me Cat), we're both Dominican, we both know how to shake what our mommas gave us, and we're pretty cute :D This is her first single called "Whine Up" featuring Elephant Man.



3) Enur: Don't know much about this person/band (?) except that this song is catchy. It's called "Calabria."



4) Parallel Parking: It's the only thing I can't frikken do in a damn car. If anyone has a trick they use or anything ANYTHING that can help me learn how to do this please help me out. I want my liscence!



5) That asshole who tried to sue his local dry cleaners for $54 million: Seriously dude, for some lost pants?? Get a life... and send your clothes somewhere else genius. Here's the rest of the article from the New York Times.



6)NYC: I just got back from my trip to NYC and it was AWESOME! It was the first time I'd been back since I was like 12 or something... I went house hopping and stayed with a few friends and relatives. Fun fun city... I'm so living there one day.

I randomly saw Jade from America's Next Top Model at some restaurant and Jenny McCarthy at the Ripley's Museum premiere while I was in Times Square...
