I Like Rihanna's New Bob

When I first saw the video for "Pon de Replay" in 2005 I thought, "Oh this is catchy, but this girl is clearly a one hit wonder." I felt that there was nothing special about her: she had no charisma, couldn't dance, and had an odd-shaped head.



But, boy was I wrong about her. I have to admit that Rihanna's been growing on me ever since. Her melodious hooks never fail to stay stuck in my head for weeks, and her videos keep getting better and more creative as she gains more and more fame. No one out there right now sounds or looks anything like her. Her adorable carribbean accent (from Barbados) definitely adds a style that's all her own to hip hop beats that make you wanna dance.

She has definitely grown into that awkward head of hers. She looks better than ever in her latest video featuring Jay-Z.
