note: apparently the new way to make links on blogger is to click the post title. not sure why, but that's where my links will be. sorry.
before carly kills me for not posting, i apologize - i started my summer internship yesterday, and i've had to move to leesburg, virginia and find housing in about four days. i'm not quite done with this process yet, but i'll try to find more time to post. really.
anyway, i'm working in political pr/marketing, and part of my current task involves media research, so i keep coming across interesting articles. i'll post a few if any are really of note, but in the meantime, here's one from hillary, saying our generation doesn't know how to work. good job, hillary - start alienating the younger generation. that way we can continue to encourage voter apathy (i also saw voter registration stats lately - not good) and discourage young people from any political involvement, since all of our candidates nowadays are really (for the most part) a bunch of older white guys who suddenly discovered myspace.
bonus points to any readers who manage to make joke connecting politicians with all the other old creepy white guys on myspace.
oh yeah, and hillary's discovered text messaging. she hopes it will help her better communicate with voters...because nothing says "i care" like a text message sent to thousands of people from one of hillary's staffers. i'll link to the article when i have time, if you're desperate in the meantime look on wonkette.
that's all for now, more updates on "emma's exciting life in leesburg" still to come. stay tuned.
